-Science (Especially Geology and Earth Science - but to be frank, I love all sciences in some way).

-Comics and Cartoons (sometimes including Anime and Manga)
-A lot of Amnesia: The Dark Descent jokes, apparently
-Some Homestuck love.
-Love for just about any comic/book/story with an interesting plot or something puzzling about it.
And my opinions/posts are by no means infallible. If there is a reason why something I post is actually wrong (a good one) then I'd love to hear it. I'm still learning, after all.

I have lots of privilege:
- I may not be caucasian, but in a latin country, having white skin makes me privileged.
- I’m a cis woman who addresses to many gender norms, I’m privileged.
- I’ve had an heterosexual looking relationship for a long time, I’m privileged.
- I’m part of the religious majority, I’m privileged.
- I’m thin and I have harmonious facial features, I’m privileged.
- etc
This does NOT mean I should be ashamed or feel guilty for being/having any of those things, what that DOES mean is that when I address certain issues I have to make sure I’m not talking out of privilege and that I’m not just acting out of subconscious fears of having my privilege taken away from me.
Stop feeling victimized. Being told to check your privilege is NOT an attack, is people trying to make you see where your views and actions come from and check if the source of your views and actions are correct or not.

TBH I was going to post something like this after the very idea of ‘thin privilege’ existing caused great rage to some of my followers…It’s not saying you’re a bad person, guys, or that nothing can go wrong for you. It’s just acknowledging some people experience a bad situation that you don’t.
I’m not putting this well at all so I’m glad you wrote the post xD
